Having purchased a $50 box previously I was excited to see what would be in a higher dollar box. I was super excited to get a Dreadnought and Hive Tyrant in the same box. As well as a desolation squad and some Hormugaunts. To cap it all off there was a really nice wet palette and some upgrade bits for the dreadnought. All said, I am very pleased with the box and excited to continue painting these minis. I will more than likely buy more mystery boxes in the future. Once I’ve painted what I’ve got.
I ordered and received this box, all the way to Chile, in little over a week. The contents were well packaged, and stripped of unnecessary weight. I'm in the process of rebuilding my armies, so I only selected two armies and painting supplies. What I received blew my mind, I got a Game Envy Pro wet palatte (with 2sponges/100 sheets) and Envy Mini Holder as well. The set of brushes were sizes I didn't have already, and are not only well made, but also made for an adult's hand so less cramping. In terms of my mini haul, my cup runeth over: A Cadian Command squad, a squad of Cadians, a trio of Windriders, and a Wraithlord. Every unit fits perfectly into what I already have, every hobby supply was something I needed and that's not all: I also received some awesome prints of EVERY Imperial Assassin as my free gift, and they're in cool poses!
VAT didn't apply here, and because of GW pricing, it likely won't apply anywhere. Most importantly I had no issues whatsoever with shipping or even getting in contact to ask a few questions before I purchased the box. Rob is an OG on the scene, and many of us Neckbeards can remember buying a spikey bit or two from him before. I'm so happy with the product and experience: I'll be upgrading to the big $500 box for my next purchase. Also, if it wasn't for the mystery box I would've likely never tried Game Envy products (they're super well made, I want their fancy lamp now).
tl/dr Don't give more money to James Workshop Esq. anymore, give it to Spikey Bits: you'll get everything you need and a surprise.
